Beautiful watajoy vanity beauty cosmetic train case / travel bag sold in harrods

Beautiful top quality vanity case circa 1930 made by top london makers watajoy which was strictly retailed in harrods. Very unique 1930's deco look and styling made around a wooden frame and covered with coated striped ships canvas it has clearly been well looked after. The canvas has patinated beautifully. Inside is a little dirty and would benefit from a clean. Nice fully fitted interior complete with tray.

Chrome plated solid brass lock, handles fittings and hinges. Strong leather covered swing handle.

Would have cost a absoloute fortune when new. Great for everyday use decorative storage or just display. Its the only one like it we have ever had. Measurements in cms: H21 D20 W31.
