It clearly says here in description why. Note: the gold tone exterior parts are not plated very well and there are many places with silver spots showing.

Some noticeable parts are on the bottom feet. There may also some spots on the handle as well and on corner caps. There are also some spots of what looks like gold paint on the metal near the rivets with the holes in them. Some of the gold tone banding is not totally flush against the case. Inside the red drawers dont line up perfectly. This is how it was made. I have no control of the quality control on how these were made.
